During our discussions to record John Christian’s latest set of Podcasts, I took the opportunity to hijack them and ask him for his own personal thoughts on the movement that has been gaining momentum this month, to form an Integral collective in the UK…

Developing The Integral UK Symposium at The Integral Incubator in Boulder

As part of development towards an Integral UK Symposium, Gary is off to Boulder, Colorado, USA next week, where he is scheduled to spend the week with a group of 20 others, and run his thoughts for the UK Symposium past the world renowned leading integral philosopher, Ken Wilber, on the Wednesday afternoon of the event.

On Monday I spoke to Gary about the trip, and got his thoughts on the project, and the trip, recording the discussion for this Blog to give you all a way to keep up with the project, to help follow how things are going and what the latest thinking is, in the hope that the more information we share, the better we’ll all be able to manifest an integral culture here in the UK, with all the benefits to our society and our lives that will bring.

The Present and Future of Integral in The UK

Integral Theory can have a massive impact and considerable benefit upon a wide range of things, such as Business, Education, Health, Ecology, Coaching, Society, Personal and Family Life, and the like.

This is a big leap, though, as we shall have to take a step back in order to take a deeper perspective on Integral Applications in The UK, and there may be some way for us all to go yet before we can start to fully manifest such things. In this excerpt, Gary briefly speaks about this in regard to Education.
